Natural Flea Remedies

Are you feeding your dogs a real/raw food diet? If you are you can add some brewer's yeast a small amount of garlic and some super greens for animal friends to help repel and support the immune system. A strong immune system wards off flea infestation. There are also essential oils which can be added to carrier oils such as Neem oil and Almond oil. The essential oils that are known to repel fleas are: Lemongrass, Citronella, Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme & Cedar.
I choose Neem oil as one of my carriers because it is a strong bitter which fleas and parasites do not like.
For a flea oils rub use:
30 ml neem oil and 30 ml almond oil and add 1 drop of each oil mentioned above.
You can add these essential oil to shampoo and bath them as well.
You can make a flea collar by purchasing a soft material collar, find the least expensive and soak in the following mixture:
1/2 tsp. alcohol
1 drop cedarwood
1 drop lavender
1 drop citronella
1 drop Thyme
The flea collar recipe comes from The Fragrant Pharmacy by Valerie Ann Worwood.
